History
The Executive Transportation Group has been family owned and operated
since 1917. The company has a rich tradition that can be traced back through
four generations of the Acierno family. Beginning in the nineteenth century,
providing stagecoach service in Europe, the company eventually evolved
into the industry leader it is today. In 1974 Executive Charge, Inc. was
created as the billing company. At that time the company was focused on
the taxi business.
In the 1970's the company began acquiring limousine services
(which were to become black car services in the 80's). Over the course
of time, the company has been carefully acquiring, partnering and/or placing
management agreements in place with numerous companies. This now encompasses
18 companies, from Limousine and Executive Sedan services through Black
Car (Corporate Sedan) and worldwide reservation services. In keeping with
the tradition of being a market leader, we also have the largest domestic
fleet of Hybrid vehicles to address our customer's needs.
